Bethlehem Lutheran Church
Pastor Steve was born and raised in Vernon, NJ and went to college at Concordia University in St. Paul, MN.
Pastor Steve Vera and family have arrived and they cant wait to get started in the many areas of ministry at Bethlehem. Pastor Steve is very excited to leave behind the world of academia to actually do ministry. He hopes to bring a whole new level of excitement and energy to Bethlehemespecially in our contemporary worship, youth and young adult ministries.
Pastor Steve was born and raised in Vernon, NJ and went to college at Concordia University in St. Paul, MN. He met his wife, Calie, while both worked at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hudson, Wisconsin (Pastor Steve was the youth director and Calie was the pre-kindergarten teacher). From there it was off to St. Louis to begin the crazy, wonderful seminary journey. They have now been married for 4.5 years. They have one son and another child on the way.
Pastor Steve is very excited about the many new faces and friends he will meet at Bethlehem and in Sun Prairie, as they settle in and make Sun Prairie home. Dont be shy; introduce yourselves to Pastor Steve and Calie whenever you canwhether it is in church or at the grocery store.
May God grant all of us faithfulness, boldness, and endless energy and compassion in the exciting new future that awaits our ministry togethershining Christ!
