Please note there will be no AWANA or JUMP Middle School Ministry on Wednesday this week. Additionally, the office will also be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 25 & 26, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. On Saturday, November 27 there is NO Second Harvest Food Pantry. However, there is prayer for the Janesville School District on Saturday at 8:00 am, and the "Back to the Manger" Christmas rehearsal is happening at 9:00 am.

Stewards of the King
Join us for this month's sermon series Stewards of the King: A Tithe of Time, Talent & Treasure. A steward is the person that leads the kingdom while the king is away. This person makes decisions as a king, for the king and with the king’s best interests in mind. A steward speaks with the authority of the king, and the people listen.

Christians are called stewards of the King of Kings, and are His representatives on planet earth. We serve our King with our time, talents and treasures. During the month of November, we'll remind ourselves of our role as stewards of Jesus Christ our King.

Children's Christmas Musical
Rehearsals are underway for "Back to the Manger," this year's Children's Christmas musical. Practices take place on Saturdays, beginning October 30, from 9:00 - 11:30 am and will be each Saturday monring until the performance on Sunday, December 12. See Pastor Jamie if you have any questions.
Prayer for Janesville Schools
Join us November 27! The fourth Saturday of each month at 8:00 a.m. will be set aside for anyone who would like to join Karen Schulte in prayer for the School District of Janesville. Prayer time will be held for about one hour in the sanctuary. Please note there will be no prayer gathering on Christmas Day, December 25.
Come and Sing!
If you enjoy singing and would like to be involved with the Worship Ministry, your next step is to join our Worship Choir! We sing once each month in the Contemporary services along with the Worship Team. With only two rehearsals each month, it's a great way to get involved. Call the office or email Pastor Barry if you're interested. Next rehearsal is November 11, singing in the November 14 service.

Due to the busy holiday season ahead, the Men's Breakfast will not be held on December 11. Look for the breakfasts to return the second Saturday of the month beginning January 8 at 8:00 am.

'Souper' Cooks Needed
The Acts of Service Board is looking for people who are willing to make soup for 10 to 35 people once each year for Discover Bethel or Newcomer's Luncheons. The cost for the soup ingredients can be reimbursed. Please see Janet Bliss (884-9833) if you are willing to add your name to the list of super soup makers!
Men's Shelter Need
G.I.F.T.S. Men's Shelter is looking for volunteers to support other churches on occasion. There are many areas of service needed, including set up and take down, check-in, overnight stay, laundry, meals and groceries. If you are interested or having any questions, please contact Matt Eakins at 608-719-9119 or John Burt at 752-2466 for more information. Please note Bethel is hosting the shelter January 16-23 and April 3-10, so your service would be in addition to those dates.
