Church in the City is unique. It is casual, but God focused. The music is contemporary and engaging, but worshipful. The messages are biblically Christ-centered and are therefore practical. Our goal every week is to help people on their spiritual journey connect with God in a way that is personal and life-transforming. Our vision as a church is “to create a vibrant community that invites people to passionately follow Christ.” It isn’t about religion, but about the ability to be in relationship with the God of the universe who loves us passionately.
Church in the City is a place where real people seek to encourage each other and experience God. No matter who you are or how you found us, we warmly welcome you and encourage you to put us to the test. We might just be the family you’ve been looking for.

FIRST TRIMESTER OPTIONS
Colossians: Gaining a True Knowledge of Christ So No One Deludes You
September 8th December 15th
This will be a 12-week inductive Bible study on the book of Colossians, focusing on what it means to be complete in Christ. We will be challenged to consider whether Christ is truly our all in all, and to make sure were not being deluded by man-made philosophies or traditions that contradict the Word of God. Join us on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:15 for these life-changing weeks! (Study leader: Annette Duncan)
In Search of His Spirit
September 19th October 31st
He is our Teacher, leading us into all truth. He comforts us in difficulty. He provides guidance for our lives, and is our source of power to walk by faith. He even lives within us. You might assume this refers to God the Father or Jesus Christ; it is actually a description of the Holy Spirit. Yet many believers know very little about the person and work of the Spirit. Join us from 5 to 6 pm on Sunday evenings as we explore, both through Scripture and experience, the indescribable Holy Spirit of God.
