Flu Vaccine Information -
Updated October 20, 12:25pm
Flu vaccination is in full swing. We have vaccines for all age groups including Flumist for those over the age of 2. As with all vaccines, certain age and health restrictions apply. Discuss with your doctor or one of our nurses what is best for your child. We have also scheduled a Saturday Flu Clinic Saturday November 6th. Call today to schedule an appointment any day that is convenient for you.
Other Important Health Updates -

Recalls of Tylenol, Motrin, Benadryl, and Zyrtec: Use these links to see if products you have at home are being recalled. This recall does not affect generic brands. Anything you purchase off the shelves at this time is considered safe as the recalled medications have been pulled.

Whooping Cough: We have been informed of a small pertussis or "whooping cough" outbreak. If your child has been exposed to a person with suspected "whooping cough", please contact us immediately. The best way to prevent your child from acquiring pertussis and to prevent spreading it to others is to vaccinate. However, we also recommend antibiotics for those who have been exposed to a confirmed case.

Also, did you know that new parents should receive the new tetanus booster that also includes pertussis or "whooping cough" protection? Ask your physician or us for details.
Stay tuned for other important health updates and let us know if there is an update you think should be posted.
