Meet Jeff Knapp
Jeff Knapp has been ataxidermist for over 30 years and has won many awards including Blue Ribbon and Best of Show. He has trained under several world champion taxidermists and has spent countless hours studying live whitetail deer, birds, mammals, fish, and other big game while photographing the details to bring realistic and unique qualities to every animal mounted.
Jeff does all aspects of taxidermy work to include big game, fish, birds, mammals, antler repair and his legendary reproduction antler work.
Respectively, Jeff has mounted the number one whitetail typical archery kill in the world, The Mel Johnson Buck as well as numerous world and state record animals.
Jeff specializes in whitetail deer and other big game animals to include life size, full shoulder, European skull mounts, and any custom mounts and bases requested.
Jeff has replicated some of the largest whitetail deer on record including the largest hunter - killed deer - The Tony Luvstuen Buck.
He has also replicated, using his taxidermist experise, the world record largest deer - The Missouri Monarch and other bucks such as The Hole In The Horn, The Del Austin Buck, The James Jordan Buck, The John Breen Buck, The Mel Johnson Buck, The Illinois Road Kill, and hundreds of other world record and state record animals. Jeff has been featured in Outdoor Life Magazine, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Ozaukee Press, and News Graphic. Even Bill Winkie noted Jeff's excellence in his book titled, Quest For The World Record.
Jeff continues to advance his taxidermy education annually, keeping up with new techniques and attending trade shows to seek out new state of the art products.
