Pine Lake Pastures is a farm dedicated to helping people and animals heal and grow. We offer horseback riding lessons, therapeutic riding for special need individuals, 4H clinics, and equine-assisted consulations for businesses. Many of our horses come from rescue situations. Rescues are given proper medical care, then they are trained for our therapy riding program, lesson program, or adopted out to life time family. Our Free Therapy program is open to anyone, any age! We work with special needs of varying degrees. Our lesson program is based on Centered/Balanced riding and is available for beginners thru advanced adults. Pine Lake Pastures is the Wisconsin Home of the Personal Pony program that is a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving Special needs children a pair of ponies at no charge.
Baldwin Horse Parade and Student Banquet

BRING: Coggins test
WHERE: We haul horses to Bol's lane in Baldwin WI- need to be there by 11:30am
RIDE: From BOl's lane thru downtown baldwin and Back to bowling ally. Approximately 3miles.
WHO: You can ride your horse, or walk a pony. If you don't own a horse, usage fee is $25.00 (approved riders only).
Bol's lane will be having a FREE WILL DOnation lunch after the parade. Music, beverages, and Food.
WE have up to 3 trailers that can attend.
It's nice if you can create a costume. One student said let's do reindeer! Love that idea, WOuld anyone want to dress up as santa and walk a pony?
Pony walkers usually hand out candy also!
BANQUET This is open to everyone even if you only attended one show. If you didn't attend any shows but would like to attend the banquet- PLEASE COME and Celebrate with us, but I need your RSVP.
COST: $5 to PLP, and you pay for your dinner. There will be a limited menu to choose from.
WEAR: Some students want to dress up- entirely up to you!

Hay- buy a bale at $3.75, or buy a load of hay $600. Or anything inbetween- Year round we go thru 2500 bales of hay. Know a farm that can help us with a deal? email me.
Skidster to move manure- this would also allow us to purchase round bales and save money for some pastures.

Oil Saddles- rainy day, nothing to do? Stop by the tack room and oil a saddle or two. It's actually good arm exercise and our tack needs your TLC. We have the oil.

AUGUST 29th- HORSE SHOW HERE Pine Lake Pastures- Special Assistance Classes, Hunter, Jumper, and Gymkhana- show begins 9am- show bill to follow soon!
May 30th Hunter/jumper schooling show,- 1st out of 90 in Jumper 2'6" , 1st out of about 50 in 2ft schooling division, 2nd in 2ft adult division, 3rd in 2ft division, 3rd and 4th in flowerboxes and flat, and many 3rds, 4th, 5ths in hunter/jumper! GREAT JOB GIRLS!!!! ALSO- nicely done in dressage!
Pictures: We show Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, Gymkhana, and some English Pleasure- but mostly we go to have fun!
Therapeutic Riding and the NEW THERAPY INDOOR ARENA

We have some openings for fall/winter in our therapy program. If you are interested in joining us in this special activity, please email Nikke at Hafemeyer@frontiernet.net with your circumstances and we will work out a schedule!
Zach's favorite horse is Chaun!
Pine Lake Pastures offers FREE therapy riding to children and adults with special needs. A session lasts about an hour, and siblings (must be supervised by the parent) are welcome to come and visit the farm while their sister/brother ride in a session.
Riders will be lead around in our outdoor or indoor arena by a volunteer. Parents are welcome to watch . We have volunteers that ride behind young people that can not hold themselves up.
