Col. Barb Helein is a 1980 Graduate of the Mason City College of Auctioneering, Mason City, IA. Having called auctions since the age of 15, she has most definitely gained "hands on" experience learning from her father, Bob Diemel, who was one of few self taught auctioneers. Barb's mother, Katie, who has a down to earth personality and keep it simple "use common sense" attitude, has kept the family owned Willow Springs Ranch Auction Barn running for 49 yrs. and still going.
