Many times when a customer calls to get an assessment on the condition/health of a tree I am surprised at how bad the condition of the tree is before them homeowner decides to call. Recently I gave a quote on a tree that the homeowner was worried about. When I got to the property I saw that the tree in question, a white oak tree was rotten most of the way through the trunk. This was vary bad news considering how close it was to the house and outdoor propane tank.

I estimated the tree was rotted 70%-90% through the main part of the trunk and told the homeowner that it should be removed very soon. After my crew and I cut the tree down and saw all the rot in it (closer to 90%) I told her she was very lucky that it didn't blow down in a strong wind. She was very surprised about the amount of rotting that was going on in this oak tree. So if you see damage on your trees, dead branches or rotting spots it's a good idea to call us for a free assessment.
