dh Training and Consulting is a corporate transportation training company, committed to educating employees to become better at their job...the job they have on the road. No matter whether you use a company appointed vehicle, or your own vehicle, dh Training believes in the value of doing a job to the highest of standards. Whether time is spent driving to work or driving for work, we are dedicated to educating employees to make safety priority one.

While it is the least focused safety training for valued employees, motor vehicle accidents are the most common cause of workplace deaths, representing about one in four fatal work injuries. Additionally, it is the most common cause of accidental death in the United States.*
Our goal is to teach and empower employees to become safer, more reliable drivers. With over 40 years of driver experience and a wide range of certifications in various classifications, we have found that the need for professional driving is not determined by the size or type of the vehicle; rather, the application of good driving habits.

In addition to educating employees, dh Training also encourages employers to do their part in offering the safest environments for their employees. We work with employers to review and apply traffic safety practices to keep both vehicles and pedestrians safe.

When a worker dies in a traffic accident, costs can exceed $500,000.* The best way to avoid costly expenses is to avoid the accident altogether.

An employee represents themselves, along with the company they are employed each and every time they operate a vehicle on company time. Any accident that occurs during business hours can create negative publicity for both the employee and the company they represent.

How Does dh Training Work?
Our motivating training programs have proven results to develop and execute both improved driving skills in unaware drivers; and reinforce the importance of good skills in knowledgeable drivers. We use various techniques including our exciting in-class presentation and informational one-on-one driver/instructor evaluation rides. We believe this crucial combination produces the solution for a more confident work world behind the wheel.

Site Safety EvaluationsWhile drivers are one challenge, work sites can be another. dh Training can evaluate your business site. We will assess current parking lots, pedestrian traffic flow and the overall safety environment for your visitors and employees. After a complete observation of the site, we will present improvement strategies to better assist the ease traffic routes used by pedestrians, bikers and vehicles.

Site Safety Implementation and Managementdh Training will implement the changes suggested by our site safety evaluations, from installing signage, construction renovations and educating users. At times, the intentions are there to improve safety standards of a site, but due to lack of time and staff, plans fail to succeed. dh Training can then manage the site at your request to ensure proper achievement of the overall safety goal.
