Welcome to Nala's fromagerie, a European style cheese store.
As you enter the store, you are transported to a small village in southern France. Sights and sounds draw you in and you now see why you stopped. Coolers in the store are filled to overflowing with cheeses that you've never heard about, much less seen or tasted. Mozzarella di Bufala, St. Marcellin, Pont l'Eveque, Pleasant Ridge, more than a dozen blues plus at least 100 more. In another cooler, you'll find hand made Italian sausages, Spanish chorizo, Jamon Serrano, Proscuitto di Parma, foie gras and your choice of pates. Over a dozen types of olives from around the Mediterranean are there for you to mix and match.
The cabinets hold aged Balsamic and Sherry vinegars, some that started their lives up to 60 years ago! Stone ground mustards made in small batches and bottles of first cold pressings of extra virgin olive oil from small, family owned orchards are offered to the customer. Crackers, toasts, crostini and French bread round out the offerings.
When you walk into the store, a tasting is always offered. French, Italian, Spanish, Irish; cow, goat, sheep; raw, cooked, pressed, washed rind, bloomy rind, thirty days to 10 years old; the list is endless. Be assured that you will leave the store with more knowledge about cheese than when you entered. If you have a favorite that you don't see, we'll do our best to acquire it for you. Come tour the world with us!
