The Dance Academy has been located at 801 Beech Street in Grafton for over 30 years.
Miss Kristen purchased The Dance Academy in 2002 shortly after graduating with honors from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance.
The Dance Academy boasts an impressive early childhood program. Our teachers are qualified professionals who have extensive training in both dance and child development. Our goal for our younger students is to introduce them to the art of dance in a creative and fun environment.
With an emphasis on technique, our older students are taught correct execution of steps along with proper dance terminology. Our selection of classes include ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern and pointe. All students interested in pointe, must demonstrate prior knowledge of steps along with strength and technique through a test conducted by our pointe instructor.
We are dedicated to instilling a strong a appreciation for the art of dance in our students, as well as giving them a strong technical base to build on.
