LEARNING EXCHANGE COMMITMENT TO STUDENT SUCCESS
As an educator I found it very frustrating to see some students fall behind year after year. It wasn't anyone's fault, just a simple fact that every student learns at a different pace. Some students need extra help. Some need help in math, others in science or reading, still others need help with study skills.
When I founded Learning Exchange, I established an organization committed to help students do better in school. We developed a unique system to evaluate a student's area of strengths and weaknesses, and then we developed an organized program to help each student succeed. Today, this very successful educational system is the foundation of the program that we use to deliver Title I Reading and Math services to 10 Nonpublic Choice schools in Milwaukee.
Another important fact in the success of a student in school is self-esteem. With our programs, students develop a new sense of self-esteem, which is so critical to their future success. Once students believe in themselves and see that they can become better students, learning becomes fun again. Our responsibility is to proactively work with the community, school districts and families to understand the current and emerging educational needs and opportunities.
