Sisson Mobility Restoration Center is a premier provider of technologically advanced prostheses, serving individual patients throughout the world. Although there are approximately two million people in the United States living without one or more limbs, their clinical needs are profoundly different from one anotherand this is something thats crucial to understand.
Because the amount of remaining limb greatly affects a persons prosthetic design requirements, there are no off-the-shelf solutions. And after being fitted with the prosthesis, what one person considers getting my life back will differ profoundly from what someone else considers to be the same.
