Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Steve Ackerman. I am from Janesville, Wisconsin, and I am a carpenter. I have been for most of my life. I build quality, attractive decks at a competitive price, in a short amount of time with the intention of 100% customer satisfaction setting the standard for my work.

I will go over the different materials available to build your deck, their wear and tear properties and their different appearances and options. I use heavy duty hardware and more than adequate framework making for a solid, enduring structure that will give you many years of pleasure. I screw everything down with a good heavy and long screw, and I pride myself on practical design and an attractive finished appearance.

Include your specs and I will e-mail you a rough estimate of what it is going to cost you to build the deck you are considering. In e-mailing me specs, I need the exterior dimensions (Length X Width) plus the height of the deck and number of stairwells you are thinking about installing. I live in Janesville and will drive as far as 30 miles to build your deck. Please keep that in mind.
Once decided on a deck type, design and materials, we will go over different handrails and additional options for your deck such as planters, benches, curves, multi-level decking, deck board patterns etc...
