Personal, Quality Care As a husband/wife team of psychologists, Drs. Harris and Bloemer have practiced psychotherapy and couples therapy together since 1999. In our practices, we always strive to provide you with the kind of personal and quality care that is hard to find these days. We have created an environment that is warm and receptive so you can be very comfortable in your experiences with us. Our training, skills and professional and personal experiences will help you find understanding and resolutions to your questions and concerns.
Personal Nature of Therapy As we have seen many clinics and medical practices grow larger and more impersonal, we have emphasized the personal nature of therapy. During the first 10 years of practice, we worked with our clients from our private, restored historic home, located on the picturesque banks of Cedar Creek in Hamilton National Historic District in Cedarburg. In 2009, in order to simply our lives and to give us even more time to work with our clients while still retaining our personal approach, we moved to a private office park surrounded by wetlands and trees.
Our work is focused upon your personal, unique needs. Insurance and other influences have encouraged or forced therapists to focus their efforts on quick, impersonal assessments and hyper-brief models of treatment that emphasize symptom reduction over comprehensive healing and transformation, regardless of your personal circumstances. While we will aim to help you as quickly as possible, we are also committed to designing your therapy toward genuine healing and holistic growth, which can lead to a deeper re-orientation of your life when desired. Of course, you will never be treated like a number in our practice, but always with dignity and respect.
Simplicity We value simplicity and offer this to you. To this end, we’ve always limited our practice to just the two of us. When you call, you will speak with us (or our personal voicemail if we’re in session) rather than a reception person or a manager, so you can ask questions and immediately develop a sense of us and whether we will be a good fit for you. You are always welcome to talk directly with us about any issues whether procedural or billing or regarding any other matter.

Location Glen Oaks Office Park, just an 1/8 mile north of the Northshore Theatre in Mequon. We serve clients from Cedarburg, Grafton, Mequon, Ozaukee and Waukesha Counties as well as the Northshore of Milwaukee and beyond.
