Hauswerks is owned and run by Bruce Kaitchuck. Sandy Kaitchuck, his wife, runs the office and takes care of the bookkeeping. This is a business with the owners taking a hands-on type of attitude. Hauswerks will not accept a job then pass it off to project managers to complete the project. Bruce will run the job from start to finish.
Hauswerks is a founding board member of the Headwaters Builders Association, which actively strives to ensure that all contractors carry state certification. When Vilas County was rewriting their zoning ordinance, he was asked to serve on the Lake Classification subcommittee representing the builders group.
Hauswerks has six experienced full time employees and a full compliment of subcontractors to ensure that the project is completed in a prompt and professional manner. Hauswerks, and all subcontractors carry complete liability and workers compensation insurance and state licensing, where applicable. This is for your protection. There are a number of less reputable people, who call themselves "contractors" and may not carry any insurance.
Hauswerks does not try to be the lowest bidder just to get the job. When the project is completed, you will not find a page of hidden costs. We provide quality workmanship and materials and strive to achieve the homeowners satisfaction.
