BTC offers two 520 hour full-time Police Recruit Academies, one 520 hour part-time recruit school and two 160 hour basic corrections academies. We also provide specialized training to police agencies statewide.
Classes at Blackhawk Technical College - Beloit Center
The Beloit Center is conveniently located in the recently renovated Eclipse Center in downtown Beloit, at 50 Eclipse Center. The Center provides basic academic and GED/HSED instruction, remedial education and classes for English Language Learners. The Center also offers the phlebotomy technician program, as well as Health and Human Service, Business and Information Technology, general education, and community education courses. Visitors are always welcome!
Clinical Lab Tech Program a Success at Monroe Campus
Have you considered a career in the laboratory sciences? Join the healthcare team and explore a new career pathway which includes employment opportunities ranging from phlebotomy technician, to laboratory assistant, to certified clinical laboratory technician. Students may choose a one year technical diploma of 18 credits in phlebotomy, continue on in the laboratory technician assistant program (36 credits) or complete a two-year associate degree as a Clinical laboratory technician.
