Our commitment was to provide a solid foundation for our kids while they were younger, knowing full well that these were their most impressionable years. The dividends weve received are evidence that our investment was worth the sacrifices weve made for them. It became a part of our budget in the same way that our mortgage payment, utilities, insurance, groceries, etc., were. It was a necessary expense not an optional one.
