We are located on Hwy. 42, between Ephraim and Fish Creek, right in the center of Door County. Staying at Parkwood Lodge in Fish Creek is like staying at Peninsula State Park - without camping! Our lodge is located directly across from this jewel of the state park system on Hwy. 42. In fact you can cross the road and be on the hiking trail in 5 minutes from any lodge room.
Peninsula State Park has 3,776 acres where you can enjoy biking, hiking, golfing, boating or swimming at the beach. In addition, Peninsula State Park is home to a 141 year old lighthouse that you can tour, a 75 foot tower that you can climb for a breathtaking 360 degree view of the park and shoreline; an outstanding 18 hole golf course and the American Folklore Theatre whose performances on an outdoor stage draws thousands of visitors every summer.
