Welcome to our temporary website. We are in the process of building a new site, which we hope will offer you a fresh look at our company.
For 2009, our family and staff are celebrating Silver Creek Nurseries, Inc., 50th year in business! While reflecting on our past, we are also planning for the next 50 years and beyond.
Silver Creek Nurseries, Inc. is licensed and inspected by the State of Wisconsin - Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, as a Nursery Grower. We offer our plants and other products to licensed growers or dealers along with other legitimate users of nursery stock at the wholesale level in Wisconsin, the United States and Canada.

We are located near Lake Michigan, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. We currently farm about 400 acres, offering over 300 varieties of large shade and ornamental trees; container grown trees, shrubs and evergreens. Some of the famous sites where our plants are located are the U.S. Air Force Academy and the U.S. Olympic Training Center, in Colorado Springs, CO; the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN; and representing Wisconsin at the U.S. National Arboretum, National Grove of State Trees in Washington, DC.

Besides our plants, we also identified the need for a fast and reliable method of inventorying shade trees. In 1996, we introduced the Calipro Tree Inventory System and received U.S. Patent #5,884,240, in 1999. The Calipro II System (offering upgraded software and hardware) is now being used by several progressive nurseries in the U.S. and Canada.

In addition to offering premium quality plants, we also are helping to support the green industry, by being active members of the Wisconsin Nursery Association (a member organization of the Wisconsin Green Industry Federation), the Wisconsin Arborist Association and the American Nursery and Landscape Association along with other related organizations and boards in Wisconsin and the nation. We are also charter exhibitors at the MidAm Trade Show.
