As a pet owner or animal lover, in all honesty, you'd probably prefer never having to visit us at all. That would mean that your pet was completely healthy and you were perfectly content seeing your family veterinarian for regularly scheduled appointments. And you know what? We'd be happy about that too because we're pet owners and animal lovers as well.
However, if that day or night ever does come, when your pet is in need of emergency or critical care, it's comforting to know that everyone at Veterinary Emergency Service (VES) is dedicated to giving your pet uncompromising care when it's injured or ill.
It's somewhat like Band Aids. You hope you never have need for them, but it's always good to know where they are just in case. And now you know that we're here for you and your pet 24 hours a day.

VES goes beyond just ER for your pets. We also offer a wide range of specialty and diagnostic services.

Another way we may get to know each other is through a referral from your veterinarian for further diagnostics or specialty care. In that case, they could recommend that you bring your pet here to be examined or treated. In those instances, VES functions as an extension of the referring vet, performs any necessary procedures, and communicates back to your vet so they know what has transpired and can keep you informed.

VES recognizes that emergency medical care for your pet can be unexpected and expensive. To help our clients to better cope financially with these situations, we offer Care Credit as a short term solution. You can apply through our office or on line prior to arrival. ASCPA is a perfect resource for all those harmful and unusual items your pet may come in contact with or ingest. If you seek advice from the poison control hotline, and they advise medical treatment, please retain your case number so your veterinarian can reference the case with no further charge to our clients. aspca.org >>
