"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." Anais Nin
Whether you are already practicing yoga in Madison or have never done anything you'd call yoga, we are delighted to invite you, your friends and family, to come to any class that interests you. Don't worry if it's your first yoga class - we all have had a first yoga class!
People do yoga for many reasons: pain and stress reduction, anxiety control, increased health and vitality, athletic training, or as a path for self-understanding and liberation. Everyone has their personal reasons for becoming committed to a yoga practice. At A Perfect Knot, all reasons are respected.
Yoga offers tools to develop respect, gentleness, and commitment to ourselves as it also builds our physical and mental adaptability for the activities of our lives and our service to others.
Please use this website; it can answer many questions. We regularly update it, especially the schedule. Please direct questions to Carla, the director, or to a specific teacher. As you will find, yoga is absolutely fascinating. If you see that yoga is useful to you, to your life, use it! We all encourage you and look forward to meeting you!
