We've got Cats/Kittens galore at the animal shelter! We have an abundance of cats/Kittens in all sorts of colors and various ages, both male and female. The best way for you to see and adopt one of our Cats/Kittens is to come to our adoption events at Petsmart West in Madison on Saturdays from 12:00 until 4:00 pm. Hope to see you there!

Country Animal Haven is a non-profit, no kill animal rescue and shelter located in Stoughton Wisconsin. We have adopted over 1300 cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, and other animals since we started in September of 2000. Some remain at the animal shelter in life-long care, some are fostered by residents in the surrounding areas, but most have found new families and new lives as pets.
As a no kill animal shelter and rescue we want to give the cats and kittens we foster and adopt a second chance at life. Since many of the animals are in foster homes, the pets under our care feel like they are wanted, and needed. - Many foster parents that go through our program end up adopting the cats and kittens themselves. We just believe in providing an alternative, cage-free environment for our cats and kittens.
Country Animal Haven does not receive Government funding. We do not have special grants. We rely on the kindness of others via, donations, fostering, helping at the shelter, and many other various ways. We have also put some basic programs in place like our "Cans for Cats" and Pennies for Puddies" in hopes that the communities in our area can find an easy way to assist with the cost of maintaining and caring for the animals.
Our main goal is to provide an animal rescue and shelter for those cats or kittens that otherwise have none... To give them a second chance at finding someone to adopt them.
