> Over the past 20 years, Soto's Martial Arts has help thousands of children increase their Concentration/Focus, Self Discipline, and overall Self Confidence while teaching them lifeskills and how to defend themselves.

Q: How old does my child have to be to start?
A: Children can start from 3 1/2 years of age and up. We will give your
child a free evaluation and see if our program makes sense for them.
Q: Will my child become more aggressive?
A: NO. Children who learn Self Defense become less agressive and more ASSERTIVE.
Studies have shown children who learn self defense carry themselves in a more
confident manner and are less likley to get into a confrontation.
"People who have known my daughter for any length of time are simply blown away at what a different girl she is these days; how confident, outgoing and assertive she is. I always reply that it has been her experience learning karate at SMAA that has made such a difference in her life. I like to think of her experience as a "foundation for life formula" through learning the art and discipline of karate.
Most significant in this formula have been the teamwork and communication between parent and teacher, highly skilled instruction, supportive and encouraging environment, and especially my daughter's willingness to give her best.
It was quite a proud accomplishment for her when she graduated with her junior black belt this summer. What made it even more special was to see her classmates literally stand up and cheer for her. I have never seen a more friendly and supportive group of people as there are at SMAA.
These collective qualities have been a real basis for positive growth and have deeply influenced my daughter's life on so many levels and in so many areas - a true foundation for life. Thank you Mr. Soto for creating such a great place to learn and grow.
