The Lord's Cafe
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: He that comes to me shall never hunger; and he that believes on me shall never thirst. John 6:35.
Hunger is one of the most basic of human needs. Hunger exists not only to remind us to replenish ourselves physically. But our soul is also in need of nourishment. Fortunately, there is a place, there are a people, and there is a God who rejuvenates our souls. You can find that renewal at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
The Lords Caf stewardship campaign recognizes the banquet offered by our church. This falls campaign is a time for all members of Prince of Peace to consider how they have been rewarded by the harvest and how best to share those blessings with others.
We will culminate our campaign with a Celebration Sunday service on November 14. It will be a Feast and Celebration event with the Fellowship Hall transformed into The Lords Caf. After perusing the menu, everyone will have an opportunity to celebrate and share in the Prince of Peace ministry, obtain 2011 pledge materials and acquire a little sustenance for the body as well as the soul. The members of the Congregation Council and Stewardship Ministry are truly excited about the Prince of Peace vision for mission and ministry. In the meantime we ask you to pray for God's blessing on our stewardship venture. Hungry?
