Classes R Us
The Fall class schedule is posted and our classes are in full swing. We're putting the finishing touches on our winter schedule. Look for our "3-D" classes featuring the KuKu Dolls, Mr. Ben the Sock Monkey, and Sam the Ram. As always, we have a full slate of knitting, crochet, weaving, and spinning classes planned.

Lorna's Laces has introduced a luscious new yarn, Honor, in all of their wonderful hand dyed colors. It's a blend of alpaca and silk that's perfect for scarves and other accessories.

Green Mountain Spinnery (in Vermont) produces organic and low impact fibers. They are committed to using wool grown in the US and eco-friendly manufacturing processes. We have their organic wool, New Mexico, in two colors. Sylvan Spirit is a blend of wool and Tencel that won a European Union award for safe production. Yarnover, a blend of mohair and wool, is a unique yarn made from the "leftover" wools used in their other yarns. The result is a heathered blend with lots of lanolin still in the fiber. Great for outdoor projects - Buddy (the shop dog) is getting a new sweater knit from Yarnover.

Spring Midwest Masters Plans for 2011
Join us April 29 - May 1. Teachers are Chris Bylsma, Theresa Chenowyth, Sivia Harding, Maggie Jackson, Judy Pascale and Candace Eisner Strick. The class schedule is being finalized.
