Bethany is a place for worship, a place for fellowship, a place for family, a place for growth, and a place for you!
Bethany is part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. [WELS] was founded in 1850 by three Lutheran pastors who immigrated to the United States from Europe and is the third largest Lutheran church body in America. Today, it has grown to over 1,200 congregations in North America. It has over 400,000 baptized members served by over 1,000 pastors.
The doctrines of the LutheranChurch are not new. Nearly 500 years ago, Martin Luther led the great Reformation of the Christian Church restoring it to original form based on purity of doctrine and a new life of faith in Jesus Christ. The doctrines are the teachings of the Bible based on the words written by the prophets of the Old Testament and the apostles of the New Testament. The Bible tells us about our Savior – Jesus Christ.
