Welcome to the website of Church of Peace UCC and Bethel UCC in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Our congregations are welcoming, diverse families of faith. Our worship services are inspirational and enjoyable, featuring a variety of musical styles, a message for the children, and sermons which relate Biblical stories to every day life in the 21st century.

We offer creative educational and fellowship programs for people of all ages and we take seriously Christs call to community outreach by distributing food through our food pantry, providing rent assistance for struggling families, and hosting the Loaves and Fishes program for Fond du Lac County. We partner with other UCC churches to provide healthcare, education, food, and spiritual nurture for needy people around the globe.

Church of Peace is a historic downtown church which has sustained people of faith in our city for well over a century. Our sanctuary is large and stately, providing an inspiring atmosphere for worship, complete with exquisite stained-glass windows and the majestic strains of a pipe organ. But Church of Peace is fully alive in the present and our church life is far from rigid. Guitar, bass, and keyboard music accompany many hymns and people feel at home worshiping together whether they are dressed in their Sunday best or a clean pair of jeans and a sweatshirt. Worship services at Church of Peace are family-friendly and we offer a vibrant Christian Education program for all ages. The church family is glad to support the many activities of our junior and senior high youth. Our congregation is blessed with a large, well-kept building which we use to host a broad range of community organizations. Our worship time is 8:45 a.m. on Sunday morning. This is followed by a social hour and at 10:00, the children's education hour begins.

Bethel United Church of Christ gathers in a charming little church building located in rural Fond du Lac (town of Byron) in a setting that is reminiscent of a calendar scene. The warm beauty of its sanctuary is complemented by the friendly welcome worshippers receive as they arrive each Sunday. Families worship together at Bethel; it is heart-warming to hear the voices of children chiming in on the Lords Prayer or singing a folk hymn with spirited enthusiasm. Sunday School provides a safe, nurturing environment to learn about Christian faith and values. Bethel works hand-in-hand with its partner church, Church of Peace, to stock the food pantry and to provide Loaves and Fishes meals, and with other UCC churches to help the needy around the world. Our worship time is 10:30 Sunday morning. Sunday School precedes it at 9:30 a.m.
