To restore all people to unity with God and each other through Jesus Christ. Celebrating 150 years and more of worship in Wausau, WI.
The Episcopal Church strives to live by the message of Jesus Christ, in which all are welcome and there are no outcasts. Our beliefs, based midway between Roman Catholicism and Protestant traditions, are sacramental and worship-oriented, promoting thoughtful debate about what God is calling us to do and be as followers of Christ. The Episcopal Church is part of the Anglican Community.

November 14, 2010 - another glorious day of the church with baptism and Fr David celebrating the 30th anniversary of his ordination!
Pictures from the pumpkin carving held on October 24 - fun was had by everyone!
The pledge card for 2011 is posted at the link in the left column.
We celebrate with our friends at the Orthodox church who will consecrate their new church this weekend. Keep them in your prayers, remembering that they had worshiped at St John's, in the chapel, before they built their church.
We need you! The Outreach Luncheon is held each month, the last Saturday of the month in Memorial Hall for those in need of a warm meal and even warmer conversation and interaction. If you can help in the kitchen, bring something for the meal, assist with set-up or clean-up, or more importantly, be here to be part of the meal and community, we need you! Literally, everyone is welcome! Contact the church office or Lisa Alexander for more information and details. The next luncheon will be November 27.
The mission of the Church is to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Jesus Christ.
