Our mission is the same today as in the day it was given by our Lord (Matthew 28:19-20) which is to teach the word of God so people may hear words by which they can be saved (Acts 11:14). The Holy Spirit instructed the apostles (John 14:26; 16:13) as to how the church and Christians should function which was recorded in the Scriptures as our pattern to follow. We strive to teach and preach only the truth (John 4:24) which is the word of God (John 17:17), not the words of man. In order to accomplish this, we recognize the need to search the scriptures (Acts 17:11) and to speak only that which is authorized by the word of God. (1 Peter 4:11; Colossians 3:17)
