Visually Impaired, Not Blind(Editorial by Dan Roberts, MD Support Director)
Glenn Beck, conservative TV and radio pundit, has revealed that he was diagnosed with macular dystrophy and might go blind. Speaking to a crowd in Salt Lake City during his "American Revival" tour, he teared up several times as he told about his diagnosis. "A couple of weeks ago," he said, "I went to the doctor because of my eyes. I can’t focus . . . He did all kinds of tests, and he said, ‘you have macular dystrophy. You could go blind in the next year, or you might not.'" Beck said he can deal with not being able to see his family, because he already knows what they will look like. But he's terrified about not being able to read. The news hit the media with headlines like "Glenn Beck Blind in One Year," "Glenn Beck Going Blind," "Glenn Beck May Go Blind From Macular Dystrophy." But there a couple of things wrong here. See link at: MD Support

Macuhealth with LMZ3 available now at Eye Contact
In my opinion, the best formulation for maintaining visual health, and for safeguarding vision into old age, would contain lutein, zeaxanthin and meso-zeaxanthin. Such a combination is optimal for shielding the central retina from damaging wavelengths of light, and from injury by free radicals, said Mr. Stephen Beatty, Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, Ireland. Check out Harry Marsland, a UK optician, who successfully recovered vision by taking Macuhealth with LMZ3 (called Macushield in Europe). See his talk: Here
