With Safety As Our #1 Goal please know that we are fussy about who we rent to (vs. the being "a full at all cost" approach). Also, our self storage units for rent feature both the latest in structural building design and use the Guardian Cylinder Lock/key system. The facility and units are built right next to busy Marsh Rd, so they are highly visible (not obscure being tucked way behind a larger building or being out in the country). Even our lawn mowing is done by a retired Dane County Deputy Sheriff, and we are an approved training facility for Madison Police's K-9 Dog Team. Lastly, beyond the confines of our storage facility, we are also concerned about your safety in and around your home and as you travel. Via meetings with the City of Madison Fire Marshall, we have assembled a series of Safety Education Resources for you and your family. So you see that in all fronts, Safety is Our #1 Goal!
Who Are We?Our family is native to the Madison area and hold professional jobs in Marketing and Accounting. We went to college here, was a City of Madison Firefighter and have owned real estate for over 30 years. Having two young lads in school (oldest is working on Eagle Scout designation), we are actively involved with coaching youth sports, youth archery, Ducks Unlimited and leading a scout den and providing support in the classroom.
Location, Location, Location - Mini Self Storage Sheds in Madison WI:This adage is ever true in self storage garage facilities! Not all storage facilities are alike in terms of facility location, building construction or management. Our mini storage sheds in Madison are in the City of Madison (not an out in the country rural site). Being in the City limits, you can be assured that we are served by Madison Police & Fire Departments, (with a fire hydrant right out front)! Unlike being in the country, our units are right next to busy Marsh Rd, being highly visible (not tucked away behind).
Constructed in 2003, our Madison self storage units feature metal buildings with interior metal walls (not drywall, concrete block or plywood) with insulated ceilings (keeps condensation from dripping), raised concrete floors, easy roll-up doors with top and bottom weather stripping, Guardian Cylinder Locks and all aisles are blacktop for less dust. Lastly, our secure self storage facility has its own storm water management system right on site with aggressive sloping (see picture above right) between aisles for efficient water drainage to collect and divert water away from the site.
Renting A Storage Garage From Us:When you visit this family-owned and managed mini storage facility to look at a storage garage, you will be visiting a modern clean storage facility. When you call us we will discuss what you are storing, when you will need to start storing and now long you anticipate staying with us. From this information, we will make size recommendations and schedule with you, a showing appointment. At that appointment, we will show you a very secure self storage shed so you can get a visual idea that the space you are looking at will accommodate your needs. If you are comfortable with us, we will have you sign a lease and issue you a key. Your lease is a month-to-month lease (calendar months). If while during your stay, you need to change to a larger size, downsize, or add another unit, we will work to accommodate you. We also send you a "Welcome" email to make it easy for you to contact us.
You will NOT need to purchase a lock as we will provide you FREE, the Guardian Cylinder lock system for the duration of your stay. We accept Visa and Master card, charging your card at the 1st of the month.
Lastly, when moving out, you will need to notify us by the fifteenth day of the month that you are moving out. The notice needs to be in writing (letter or email is fine). When you vacate, we ask that you broom clean the mini storage unit, lock it down secure, and return the key(s) you were issued, to us in an envelope with your name and unit#, droping in the brass mail slot in the white office door, on or before the last day of the calendar month.

To our storage facilities in Madsion, from Beltline-Hwy 12/18, take Stoughton Rd/Hwy 51 South 1/8 mile. Turn left at 1st stoplight on Voges Road. Continue east 1/4 mile (past Humane Society) to Marsh Road. Turn right on Marsh Road. The storage facility is off the corner, 1/4 mile north of McFarland Ice Arena.
