Welcome to Greenway Crossing Montessori School, where we explore the boundaries of culture and learning as passed down by Maria Montessori. Here we enjoy multi-cultural and socio-economic educational experiences that help to raise our children's awareness of the world and the people that live in it. Please feel free to contact us for any questions you may have regarding our little school, nestled near the Beltline in Madison, Wisconsin.

Greenway Crossing Montessori is a small pre- and elementary school, serving children in the following programs:

3 - 6 years old - Primary Program
6 12 years old Lower and upper Elementary Program

Our school offers part or full-day programs. The school is open between 6:30 am to 6:00 pm week days. We provide an Extended Day Program, for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten, o for ages 4 - 6 years old with a more advanced curriculum in order to prepare them for kindergarten and 1st grade.
Each classroom has an English and Spanish speaking teacher, so that children can communicate in their native language along with learning a new one.
Competition is replaced by co-operation. Teachers stress the understanding of concepts rather than the memorization of facts. And children are encouraged to follow their own personal interests through a world of discovery and learning. We believe the size of the school gives each child a better opportunity to develop a defined-preparedness for their own future. We also believe that our friendly-size allows for enhanced familial connections between teacher, children and parents; this promotes feelings of connectedness in the childs life.

El personal est dirigido por Cynthia Walker, quien tiene ms de 30 aos de experiencia en el campo de desarrollo infantl y est dedicada a la filosofa de crecimiento a travs de la diversidad.
