WELCOME! We are glad you are visiting our website! The VA Kids Center is a non-profit child care center located just steps from the VA and UW Hospitals in Madison, Wisconsin. Since 1996, we have been providing high-quality early care and education to children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. Adjacent to the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, we are open year round to all members of the community. The VA Kids Center is licensed by the State of Wisconsin, meets or exceeds all Federal regulations for VA Child Care Centers, is an active member of the Madison Area Accredited Early Childhood Association, Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce, and Community Coordinated Child Care (4-C) and has been nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children since 2002. VAKC was the first Madison-area center to be awarded NAEYC accreditation under the new more stringent requirements in 2007. Our staff is highly qualified and enjoy giving children a lifelong love of learning and discovery! We accept third party funding.
