At LELC, we show our salvation through fellowship with each other and outreach to our city, state and world. The Bible tells us clearly that without deeds, faith isn't much good. In James 2:14-17, the author writes:

We welcome every person, every family, to our worshipping community empowered through God's Word and Sacrament. Trusting God before us, we accept the challenge to move from fear to faith. United in Jesus Christ, we value, affirm and invite diversity in our midst.
We commit to faith, mercy, love, justice, stewardship and service in our daily lives, our environment, our local and global communities, our families and ourselves.
