In 2011, due to the start up of our new photographic venture StillPoint Photographic Arts, I will be booking only a select number of wedding events. My schedule is already over half filled. Call today to book one of the remaining dates. Please note: I am not leaving wedding photography just limiting the number of assignments I accept so I can dedicate more time to this new project. StillPoint Photographic Arts will feature family portraiture, my fine art projects as well as a calendar of my upcoming workshops & teaching schedule. 2011 looks to be a busy and exciting year for Peggy and I so watch for posts on our blog and FB for grand opening information and special offers.
Unsolicited testimonials from our blog.
"I have seen quite a few wedding pictures in my time, but you have really captured the beauty of both bride and groom in these photos! Great job! I think that your love of photography is apparent in the beautiful shots you have created. I also took the opportunity to look through your other wedding photos on this blog, and I love that there is originality in each person's photos...just like their day! Wonderful work."

Amanda & Justin's Wedding Photographed By Gregory's Photographic Arts
By: Gregory On: 11/16/2010 11:22:29
Hello, I'm so glad youve stopped by... welcome to my little corner of cyberspace. My name is Gregory and I've been a wedding photographer in Madison, Wisconsin for over 32 years. During that time I've personally photographed over 1000 weddings. I am primarily a documentary photographer but am also well versed in both classic and contemporary portrait design.
Even though I haven't held a "real job" in over three decades I still remember that the first thing you do is to supply your prospective employer (you) with a resume, so that's what follows below, a short resume of my awards, accomplishments and aspirations. I sympathize with those who choose not to read it. I provide it just in case you're interested in that type of thing. What I would encourage you to do is visit my photo gallery archive as well as my most recent images posted to the blog. If you like what you see there than peruse the rest of the site to find out more about my family and all the various services and products we have to offer you. If you want to hear & see me speak about how I create my award winning photographs (and also get a glimpse of my gallery) check out the video interview I did on WISC TV's "Live at Five".
If you're a random visitor who just stumbled across my site, please forward this link to anyone you know who may be getting married. I promise my wife Peggy and I will take good care of them.
Coming soon... we will be going live with our new venture StillPoint Photographic Arts. Stillpoint will be the place to see our exquisite family portrait images as well as my personal fine art & multi-media projects. You will also be able to access information about upcoming photography workshops & classes that Ill be offering throughout the year.

Gregory’s Photographic Arts has long been a financial supporter of the Aldo Leopold Nature Center (ALNC). ALNC’s mission is to instill a love & understanding of nature and the environment into the minds and hearts of children in the greater Dane County area with special programs, classes and events which take place throughout the year. A portion of each wedding event retainer Gregory’s Photographic Arts collects is donated to ALNC to help fund these many projects. Gregory’s wedding & portrait photography in Madison, Wisconsin has been responsible for thousands of dollars in donations to ALNC in large part because of the voluntary membership in ALNC by his clients & friends.
In the coming year Gregory Bleck, an Oblate with Holy Wisdom Monastery, will be developing two new workshop programs; one delving into the connection between the creative photographic arts and Christian contemplative practice and the other an introduction to creative photography for those amateurs wanting to refine their vision and skill level. Look for information about these workshops and classes at our new StillPoint Photographic Arts website... coming soon!
