Palermo Villa, a classic Italian restaurant, specializes in homemade pasta dishes which include lasagna, manicotti, ravioli and stuffed shells. The traditional meat and tomato sauces are prepared with the finest Italian products. Both alfredo and white sauces are available with many of the pasta specialties.
Broiled Spedini, Sicilian Steak, both Chicken and Veal Parmigiana and Marsala dishes are served as well as seafood and vegetarian entrees. Weekend specials are offered as well as a Friday Fish Fry consisting of broiled or deep fried haddock, Sicilian cod (served with our homemade marinara sauce) and lake perch (when available).
Famous for their homemade, hand tossed pizza with a raised edge, Palermo Villa continues to serve their award winning product with all fresh ingredients as well as the family recipe pizza sauce.
Known for their French fried eggplant appetizer and fried calamari, Palermo Villa also features pesto bread, pasta parmesan salad and octopus and conch marinated in their signature Italian vinaigrette dressing. Various sandwiches are offered along with the popular Sausage Patty Sandwich prepared with Palermo's own seasoned Italian Sausage. Sfinge, (fried dough with cinnamon and sugar), has been a household Sicilian tradition for many years and a frequently requested customer dessert.
Comfort is key. Casual attire is recommended for dining pleasure. A fine selection of wines will add to the tuscan style ambiance that awaits you.
Palermo Villa is located on Murray Avenue off the intersection of Farwell and North, and has been an East Side mainstay to its loyal clientele for the past 35 years. Family owned and operated since 1978 by sister and brother, Kathleen Mirenda and Dean Cannestra, Palermo Villa continues to serve quality food at a reasonable price. Both Kathleen and Dean have managed and overseen the operation of this establishment, which originally opened in 1970 by the Fallucca Family founders of Palermo Frozen Pizza Products served nation wide.
Outside dining is available May through September. Carry out offered nightly. Parties of 25 to 30 can be accommodated nightly with private events on Sunday afternoon from 12 to 4:30 p.m. Gift certificates can be purchased daily after 5:00 p.m.
Ample street parking is available (don't forget to plug the meter). Parking is also available at US Bank ($2.00 fee applies) or behind Palermo Villa after 5:00 p.m. during the week 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
