First Sunday of Advent
Isaiah 2:1-5Romans 13:11-14Matthew 24:37-44
“As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. In those days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day that Noah entered the ark. They did not know until the flood came and carried them all away. So will it be also at the coming of the Son of Man.

Scripture Readings for November 21, 2010
The Solemnity of Christ the King
2 Samuel 5:1-3Colossians 1:12-20Luke 23:35-43
"Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom."
He replied to him, "Amen, I say to you,
today you will be with me in Paradise."
–Luke 23:42-43
"You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;
Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them."
–Psalm 139:13-16
