"For I know the plans that I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to help you, not to harm you, but that you may have a hope and a future."
In a day and age when energy conservation is at the forefront of most consumers minds, Integrity Water Solutions has taken an old concept of conserving energy from the 1960's and brought it forward to the 21st century. This concept is one of tempering, or pre-warming incoming cold water BEFORE it enters the water heater.
Incoming cold water is pre-warmed to ambient room temperture before entering the water heater through Spirotherm technology. Water heaters are brought to full service temperatures in a shorter period of time when using tempered water versus incoming cold water.
This tempering process has been proven to save consumers up to 40% of the energy needed to heat water.
40 gallon, Epoxy finished, fiber wound retention vessel. Optional Palmar Wahl mounted stem thermometer.
All brass tempering ports.
Spirotherm copper tube provides external to internal thermal water circulation.
Bottom inlet port and top inlet port allows for gravitational sediment collection before the water heater, extending heater life.
Bottom valve for easy drainage.
Increases water heater production capacity by decreasing temperature rise times.
B) Water begins dispersing around bottom of temper tank
C) Water is slowly pushed through tempering vein by water pressure
D) Semi-tempered water is reintroduced with un-tempered cold water
A) Warm ambient room temperature air is conducted inward through retention tank by a convection process. Warm water rises / collects inside top of tank
B) The convection of cold internal water is forced out and downward through the tanks external tempering vein.
Convection between (A) and (B) simultaneously raises the inward tank temperature to the warmer outward room temperature.
outlet water is routed to hot water heater
at a room temperature of 70 degrees F
Net rise in water temperature is 25 degrees F through the tempering process.
Tank Type Gas Water Heater: When used in conjunction with tank type water heaters, the Temper Tank TM saves energy by pre-warming incoming ground water to ambient room temperature. This increases hot water production by decreasing temperature rise times.
Electric Water Heater: It takes double the energy to heat water with electricity versus gas. Tempered water will greatly reduce this cost and increase hot water production by decreasing temperature rise times.
Tankless Water Heater: Tankless water heating devices are prone to low hot water production due to cold incoming groundwater temperatures. Tempering water before entering a tankless water heater solves the low production rate.
