gifts for November will support worship and childrens ministries at Peace Lutheran in Tomah, Wisconsin. Peace Lutheran is a synodically authorized worshiping community formed earlier this year to meet the needs of ELCA Lutherans in the Tomah area. In order to affirm their ELCA ties, Peace Lutheran wants to use the new, red Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) hymnals for worship. The Lutheran congregations in La Crosse have purchased ELW hymnals for them. As a special request, the members of Peace Lutheran invited members of our congregation to write a personal note of blessing or encouragement inside the cover of these hymnals. These hymnals are available in the narthex today for this purpose.
The November "Month Item" is: Peanut Butter.
