All of us at Quintessential Quilts are excited to welcome teacher Judy Hasheider for this event.
Judy is a nationally known quilt teacher who lives near Sauk City, Wisconsin. She has been teaching quilting for almost 30 years. She focuses mainly on traditional quilt patterns and in teaching quilters "how to think." You'll have to come to the seminar to find out what she means by that phrase.
Several of Judy's quilts have been featured in national quilting magazines and she publishes her own patterns as well.
The feature quilt project is "Quodlibet." Webster's definition of "Quidlibet" is whimsical combination of familiar melodies. Judy designed this quilt with a combination of familiar designs reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright's prairie style giving it a wonderful graphic and texture look. Traditional and innovative piecing is used to create the different blocks and a relaxed approach in construction makes it a joy to sew.
Call Quintessential Quilts TODAY to reserve your sewing space and for more information regarding this annual event.
As usual, a block of rooms are available at The Voyageur Inn. Call 800-444-4493 to reserve your room.
Visit Judy's website for a closer look at this quilt: www.quiltwithjudy.com

This year's event will be on Saturday, July 17. The quilts will be on display 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Airing of the Quilts is a day we set aside to share the art of quilting with quilters, quilt admirers and anyone in the community who would like to explore the art of quilting. Whether the quilt is large and grand or small and cozy, we love to see what each other has created.
We feel that every quilt tells a story and we are extending an invitation to you to share yours. Airing of the Quilts is open to anyone who would like to share their quilt(s) for the day. This is not a judged event and there is no fee to display a quilt or attend the event. Please let us know if you would like to place a quilt in the show.

So many of you bring the most delicious dishes, desserts, beverages and snacks to your classes. We often hear "can I get that recipe?" so we've decided it's time to put together a cookbook.
If you have a favorite recipe you would like to share with fellow quilters, we can make it happen. Drop off, mail or email your recipe(s) - as many as you wish to share - and we will put them together in a cookbook available in 2011.

Mark your calendar and plan on visiting your favorite shops and several new shops you've never visited before. Each shop will feature a quilt and pattern using Slashed Album Quilt Book. Many prizes and gifts. No registration fee. Visit or call Quintessential Quilts for more information.
