The congregation of Zion Lutheran Church welcomes you to this Web site. Here you will find a brief introduction to our ministry and fellowship in Jesus Christ, as well as a calendar of events, a weekly devotional, and directions for locating our house of worship. Built upon the foundation of Gods holy Word, Zion is dedicated to sharing with you in His eternal grace and mercy.
The story of Zion begins in 1874, when a group of faithful immigrants began holding
worship services in a private home. From there, the congregation grew to its present size of over 1,100 members, and for the past 55 years it has worshiped in a landmark structure of stained glass and Indiana limestone. Within these beautiful walls, children meet their Lord for the first time, young adults learn the path of faith, and people of every age and background are nourished in the forgiveness of Christ. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and we are thankful for His presence among us.
