Long Range Goals
Goal 1: Communication UCS will establish an exemplary internal and external communications network with methods and processes that are efficient and effective.
Goal 2: Financial UCS will secure resources to ensure financial security and funding to meet its strategic goals and strategies while remaining financially accessible to students from diverse economic backgrounds and providing fair compensation to faculty and staff.
Goal 3: Academic Excellence UCS commitment to academic excellence is evident as the curriculum, instructional programs,and assessment strategies are constantly evaluated and updated. Technology is used to support the teaching and learning environment and prepare students for the 21st Century. UCS is distinguished for high student achievement and the quality of its graduates.
Goal 4: Spirituality By creating opportunities for spiritual growth of students, faculty, and staff, Unified Catholic Schools will embody its mission, vision, and core values, while educating the whole person to serve others and promote peace and justice for the greater glory of God.
Goal 5: Governance, Operations and Administration The UCS board, President, Administrative Staff, and Principals will ensure that there is emphasis on system accountability, effectiveness, and efficiency with a focus on using customer service practices to meet the needs and expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
Goal 6: Facilities Unified Catholic Schools will procure and maintain an environment of permanent school facilities of outstanding quality that are conducive to learning and the spiritual development of UCS students.
Goal 7: Human Resources UCS will attract and retain the finest teachers and staff available and ensure that the quality of personnel will be continuously upgraded with maximum opportunities for professional growth. A faculty and staff recognition program will acknowledge teaching and service excellence.
Goal 8: System Atmosphere and Student Experience Using the System Core Values and a student-centered focus, Unified Catholic Schools will be distinguished for their disciplined, safe, professional, and respectful environment that features academic excellence and extra/co-curricular programs that meet the needs of all students.
Goal 9: Community Involvement UCS recognizes the important roles that students, faculty, administrators,staff and board members play in providing services in the community through articulation efforts with other educational institutions, and by participating in service clubs and organizations.
Goal 10: Family Involvement A hallmark of the UCS is the involvement of parents, guardians, families, and alumni in organized programs and volunteer efforts that emphasize the needs of students through the use of time, talents, and treasures of those involved.
Goal 11: Marketing Using a coordinated System-wide marketing program, Unified Catholic Schools will enroll an optimal number of pre-school, elementary, middle school, and high school students to ensure a diverse and predictable student population.
