Each purebred breed has a written word picture of the ideal example of that breed. Read the breed Standard for the German Shepherd Dog.
NO PUPPY CLASSES in DECEMBER (Christmas party and the Club closing over the Christmas holidays). Your puppy is welcome to join the family for the Christmas Party however.

The German Shepherd Dog Club of Wisconsin
The German Shepherd Dog Club of Wisconsin offers extensive obedience training from beginner through utility, rally obedience, agility and fly ball. Also offered are classes for puppy care and socialization and conformation for juniors and adults.
The Club's instructors are experienced volunteers who are willing to teach about how to raise and train a healthy and well-behaved dog.
TheClub owns and maintainstraining grounds, where American Kennel Club (AKC) licensed shows, obedience trials, agility trials, and fun matches are held. Itis a not-for-profit organization affiliated with the American Kennel Club and the German Shepherd Dog Club of America.
Community events include an exhibition at the World of Dogs at Wisconsin's State Fair, participation in various community holiday parades and specially requested demonstrations for Scout Troops, 4-H Clubs, Nursing Homes and Library Programs. Such demonstrations educate the public about the versatility and beauty of the German Shepherd Dog as a companion, working and/or show dog and teach children how to approach and safely play with any breed of dog.
Founded in 1947 by 33 German Shepherd enthusiasts,the Club wasto promote interest in and to train people to properly train their German Shepherd Dogs.
